After receiving my degree in Optometry from the State University of New York in 1999, I became Assistant Professor of Optometry at the Weill Cornell Medical Center and the New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

I transitioned into private practice as a Board Certified Optometrist. I have worked with the Department of Education, helping to ensure that all school-aged children received vision screenings, and that children with serious vision problems received the evaluation and treatment they needed early on. I have also volunteered to collect and process glasses to donate to missions that provide eye care in Ghana.

Optometry is more than a job. It is my passion. I continue to take courses to stay up to date on the latest ocular medical treatments and technologies.
